On Tuesday, February 6th, the St. Joseph's Junior and Senior boys basketball teams went head to head with the Villanova Wildcats in two exciting, fast paced games. The Junior team continued their outstanding winning streak, and ended their last regular season game with a 83-37 win. The Senior boys also had a solid game and ended the day with a final score of 61-42.

A special mention goes out to Simon E., who played both the junior and senior games on Tuesday, and did a great job keeping up the energy.

The Junior boy's season was truly one to remember. They played and won ten games, leading to them coming in first in the Tier 2 Standings. “We didn’t see this coming-that they would be this good. [The team] worked hard,” commented the Junior boys’ coach Mr. Rosete.

“I’d like to say the season went well. The guys played hard. A lot of development went into the season; everyone got better throughout,” said Mr. Lako, the coach of the Senior team.

Congratulations to the Junior boys for having such an amazing season. Make sure to cheer them on as they move into playoffs. Also, be sure to come and support the Senior boys in their final regular season game against the Leamington Lions this upcoming Thursday, February 8.
