On Tuesday, October 31, the halls of St. Joseph’s High School were filled with Halloween spirit. The students of St. Joe’s dressed up to celebrate the holiday in hopes to win the annual Halloween Costume Contest. But, nothing at St. Joe’s is done without the community in mind, and so to dress up, each student donated either a can and a dollar or two dollars. Both of these donations went to St. Vincent de Paul, a charity that St. Joe’s works with regularly to help the community.

Students were creative with the costumes they chose this year ranging from funny, to scary, to cute. The students of St. Joe’s really rose the bar this year for their costumes. Pictured above are two male students dressed up as college frat boys.
The annual Halloween Costume Contest run by SAC, was held at lunch is the cafetorium. Students from each grade entered with their best looks. From Britney Spears, a cactus, to biker chicks, the students of St. Joe’s showed off their creativity. The winner (not pictured) was Grade 12 student Mikhayla Angeles, who dressed up as Disney character, Moana. Congratulations Mikhayla and thank you to everyone that participated.
Thank you to everyone that donated and dressed up! Can’t wait to see what Lasers do next year! Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween!
