Hardworking and very creative, Sariah Cesar is a grade 9 student with big plans ahead of her. Before joining the St Joseph's Laser nation, Sariah went to W.J Langlois Elementary School, and has fond memories of her time at that school, especially when she won the school’s volleyball award, which was a pretty exciting moment for her, as she had been hoping to receive the award.
Although she has achieved many of her goals and dreams, there are still things that Sariah strives to accomplish. For starters, she would love to finish the school year with an average of 85 percent or higher, as she wants to push herself to achieve the best grades that she can. Along with that, she would like to join a basketball team, in order to try a new activity, and to partake in a hobby that she enjoys.
At times life can become hectic and busy, and sometimes it can do us good to sit and "decompress". For Sariah, her means of relaxing is drawing and creating any kind of art. She has had a love for drawing ever since she can remember, and it is her favourite thing to do. “Whenever anything is bothering me, art is just a way to express myself and allow myself to relax.”
As well as being a great way to unwind, art is also something that Sariah takes seriously as well. She works very hard on the work she does, and is always searching for new ways and techniques to help her improve in her skill.
Drawing is not Sariah’s only passion, however. She also dabbles in dancing, as well as impersonations. She taught herself to dance when she was young, and she sees it as a way to have fun, and also as a enjoyable way to exercise. Any genre of music will do when it comes to what she dances to, but her favourites includes dance moves that are trending at the moment.
On the topic of impressions, this is something that Sariah is extremely proud of being able to do. She picked up the skill one day by chance, and was really surprised that she could impersonate people and characters. Now, she performs for her friends and family, who love them just as much as Sariah does. A couple impressions she likes to do are the Terminator, and other movie characters, as well as any phrases from popular memes.
Being an artist, creativity is a large part of who Sariah is, and she looks for ways to incorporate it in everything that comes her way. One of these ways is in her future. Years from now, Sariah hopes to find herself working at a job where she can use her unique ideas to create. Sariah wants to implement creativity into her career so that she can enjoy what she does on a daily basis. Looks like Sariah is well on her way to achieving these goals!
