Is travelling the world on the top of your bucket list? Are you interested in learning about different cultures and what other countries have to offer? If so, look no further than the St. Joe’s 2019 Europe Trip. This amazing opportunity—made possible by Mme. Tomaselli, Mr. Sylvestre, and Mrs. Owchar—will be taking place from May 16th to the 25th, as we travel through three beautiful European countries.
Our first stop on this incredible journey is Switzerland. We will be enjoying gorgeous mountain views, eating delicious food at the Kapellbrũcke Market, and exploring everything else this country has to offer during free time.
From Lucerne, Switzerland, we will be making our way to Germany, where travellers will take part in a traditional Hofbräuhaus dinner the night we arrive. The days that follow will be nothing short of an adventure, where we will visit historical German landmarks such as the site of the 1972 Olympics, and the BMW headquarters. On a more solemn note, we will tour the Dachau Concentration Camp, which was the first Nazi concentration camp in Germany during the Second World War.
We will then travel to beautiful Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic. Visiting the Charles Bridge, exploring the hillside district of Malá Strana, and taking a stroll through the Old Town Square are just a few of the many exciting things to do in this lively city.
Our journey will come to end as we travel back to Germany, spending our last few days in Europe venturing through Berlin and Potsdam. Although being our last stop, the activities and attractions are not cut short. A guided bike tour, yoga and a picnic in the Tiergarten, a visit to the Jewish Museum, and much more, is what you can expect to close out this trip with a bang.
